Ryan Gomes Appearance

First of all I want to apologize for the late updates, I have been busy with work and about to get ready to go back to school. Sorry if I did not post it, but the Clippers did a good job promoting it so I do not feel so bad. I will start posting more in the upcoming days. Now back to the recap.

I arrived roughly around noon and I was surprised to only find one person in line. We had a good time chatting and most people showed up closer to 2 O'Clock. I would guess 50 to 60 people there. Gomes arrived late but it was because practice was taking longer due to the loss yesterday to the Wolves. When he showed up things went great.

Here is Gomes signing some shoes for a kid, he signed everything including the shoes off of this kids feet! Also some members of the spirit squad were there and also another Clipper affiliate. 

For any Clipper fan we all know this is the true face of the team. Clipper Darrell getting the poster board signed at the end. 

Also had to take a photo with the guy. We had a good time chatting while Gomes signed for the fans.

Here am I with Ryan Gomes, I was shocked how close in height we both were.

In case if you were wondering I had him sign my team ball that also has Eric Bledsoe and Eric Gordon.

He also signed this photo and I asked him to personalize it. He has a really nice autograph.

Overall it was a great signing, I did not have to wait so long, Gomes talked with everyone and even took posed photos. Why can't all signings be such smooth and relaxing. Shout outs to Larry and Cathy.

Blake Griffin Appearance Recap

Today I attended the LA Auto Show and as much as I love cars, my agenda was to meet Blake Griffin. We arrived right when the show opened and went directly to find the Kia booth. We were greeted by Keith, the man in charge of the Kia event. He was very friendly and gave us all the information and how it was going to be conducted. Overall it was a good signing. Almost everyone lined up an hour before the signing was scheduled. I was fortunate to be accompanied by Jesse a.k.a. LA Inspiration. I would guess no more than 100 or so people. The only bummer was no outside items, but being a big fan I did not mind I was happy to just meet the dude for a second time. Below are some more photos of the event.

As we left this event, we headed to the other side of the convention center. Rob Dyrdrek was scheduled to appear so we went to go meet him as well. Only like 15 people in line. Rob was very nice and took time to sign and take pictures for everyone. Here is a picture of me and him right below.

 

 

 He is surprisingly not so short, I thought he would be shorter.

 

For all the car enthusiasts, I would say this was my favorite car of the show. Can't go wrong with a classic.

What is Craig doing in his free time?

With the lockout still going on, players have different things to keep them occupied. Well for fellow Clipper, Craig Smith he is blogging and also putting up YouTube videos.
